Article 58 of the Act on the Prevention of Corruption and the Establishment and Management of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, Article 8 of the Protection of Public Interest Reporters Act, and Article 13 of the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act stipulate that reports be made under the reporter's real name. Therefore, anonymous reports, in principle, do not constitute reports of corruption or public interest violations under the law, which may hinder the ability to take action on the reported content.
