SEALON, a company specializing in adhesive solutions for apparel, announced on the 26th that it held a groundbreaking ceremony on 

the 25th at the site of its second factory in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, marking the start of an expansion of its production infrastructure.

The ceremony was attended by SEALON CEO Jinpyo Kim, key executives and employees, as well as representatives from the design, 

supervision and construction companies and major partner companies. The event began with an introduction of guests, 

followed by an overview of the second factory construction project and a progress report, a commemorative address by CEO Jinpyo Kim, 

a ceremonial groundbreaking, a SEALON seam tape cutting ceremony, and a commemorative photo session.

The ceremonial groundbreaking was attended by CEO Jinpyo Kim and Factory Manager Rakwon Yoon, 

along with Bangseop Lee, CEO of Cheongo Construction; Sangcheol Kang, head of the architectural firm; and Daehee Kim, head of construction supervision.

The new second factory is being developed to expand SEALON’s production capacity and strengthen its ability to respond to quality and delivery requirements. 

By expanding its production system, the company plans to respond more flexibly to diverse customer orders and enhance product competitiveness based on its accumulated technology and manufacturing expertise.

In his commemorative address, CEO Jinpyo Kim said, “The second factory is not simply an additional production facility, 

but a new starting point for SEALON to prepare for future growth and respond quickly and reliably to customer expectations. It will serve as an important foundation for growth by advancing the technology and experience we have accumulated while strengthening our competitiveness in quality, delivery and production.”

He added, “We will place safety as our top priority until construction is completed and continue to create better quality and technology through innovation. Based on environmental and social responsibility and transparent management, we will strive to become a sustainable company that grows together with the local community.”

SEALON specializes in developing and manufacturing adhesive solutions for functional apparel, including seam sealing tapes, adhesive films and deco films. Its products are supplied to domestic and international markets, primarily to enhance the functionality and quality of apparel in areas such as waterproofing, lightweight performance, comfort and design.
