Apparel that looks good, feels comfortable, and performs its intended function is more likely to be chosen by consumers. 

This is one of the reasons seamless garments have become increasingly popular across various categories. 

Outdoor apparel, in particular, often emphasizes waterproof performance, 

but if needle holes created during sewing are not properly sealed, water can easily penetrate through the seams.

To minimize seams for greater comfort and reinforce existing seam lines for enhanced functionality, seam sealing tapes and adhesive films are essential. 

Seam sealing tape is designed to cover needle holes in garments and prevent water from entering. 

The quality of these materials can directly affect the overall performance and quality of the finished garment.

SEALON has built strong expertise in waterproof apparel solutions and seamless bonding technologies through its seam sealing tapes and adhesive films. 

The company also produces specialty tapes for industrial garments, firefighting suits, and military uniforms, as well as deco films for apparel.

As the apparel market continues to diversify, demand for seam sealing tapes and adhesive films has become increasingly varied. 

One of SEALON’s key competitive strengths is its ability to provide customized seam sealing tapes and adhesive films for a wide range of requirements. 

This is supported by a broad product lineup designed to accommodate different fabrics and garment structures. 

To enhance product reliability, SEALON repeatedly conducts verification using seam sealing equipment, 

hydrostatic pressure testing equipment, and other testing systems, with a strong focus on maintaining sustainable and consistently high quality.

Based on these efforts, SEALON obtained OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification in 2007 and bluesign® certification in 2011, 

demonstrating its commitment to producing environmentally responsible and safe textile and apparel products. 

The company later obtained ISO 14004, ISO 9001, and GRS certifications and completed Higg FEM verification.

SEALON’s products have also gained attention in overseas markets. 

The company has continued expanding its global presence by establishing offices in markets including the United States and Bangladesh. 

In 2022, SEALON was awarded the USD 20 Million Export Tower in recognition of its export performance.

With the apparel industry having a significant environmental impact, 

SEALON plans to expand its range of eco-friendly products for a more sustainable future, including seam sealing tapes made from recycled plastic. 

Sustainability is already a core value for the company, which has established a PFAS-FREE system that avoids the use of persistent chemical substances that do not readily break down in nature. Its production processes also use electrical energy and generate no wastewater, reflecting ongoing efforts to reduce the environmental impact of the apparel industry.
