SEALON Co., Ltd., a leading provider of functional apparel bonding and sealing materials, announced that it held the “SEALON Sharing Campaign” on the 6th in celebration of its company anniversary. This annual ESG initiative aims to promote resource circulation and spread a culture of sharing within the local community.
During the campaign, SEALON employees voluntarily donated usable items such as clothing, household goods, and small appliances. These donated items will be sold through Goodwill Store and utilized as reusable and recyclable resources. In addition to the donations, SEALON contributed KRW 5 million to support Goodwill Store’s employment program for individuals with disabilities. The funds will be used to help stabilize operations and expand job opportunities for people with disabilities.
Since its founding, SEALON has continuously practiced ESG management based on its philosophy of “creating profit through technology and completing value through sharing.” The company develops eco-friendly, high-performance bonding solutions for fashion applications—including adhesive films, seam sealing tapes, deco films, and specialty films—focusing on technological innovation that reduces environmental impact from the product development stage.
A SEALON representative stated, “As a company supplying essential bonding and sealing materials to the functional apparel industry, we believe that technological advancement should benefit both people and the environment. Our employee-participation donation campaign is not just a one-time charity event, but a practical model that promotes resource circulation, creates jobs for people with disabilities, and fosters collaboration with the local community.” The representative added, “We will continue to work with partner organizations to make our anniversary a meaningful day of giving.”
SEALON develops and supplies high-performance adhesive films, seam sealing tapes, and deco films used in apparel, outdoor gear, sportswear, and functional garments. Through collaboration with global brands, the company leads the market for eco-friendly and highly durable materials. SEALON continues to strengthen environmental initiatives—including improved energy efficiency in production and expanded use of recyclable materials—while advancing various social value programs such as anniversary charity events, employee-participation donation campaigns, and local community partnerships.
